Paul Veillon
Bio
Paul Veillon founded Galileo Law in 2015 to stand up for people after serious injuries. He has spent his entire career representing plaintiffs. His practice is devoted primarily to personal injury litigation but also includes property-damage-only claims for exotic and ultra-luxury vehicles. He and his team help clients with every part of their recovery, from medical care to repairs, total losses, and rental cars.
Paul has helped change Washington law to make insurance companies treat people more fairly. In one case, he won a decision confirming that underinsured motorist coverage must pay not just for repairs but also for diminished value — even if the policy tries to exclude it. In another, he established that tort damages cover both diminished value and the loss of use of a comparable replacement vehicle.
Paul grew up in the Puget Sound area, studied physics at the University of Puget Sound, and earned his law degree from Seattle University in 2003. He went to law school at night while working full-time and raising four kids under seven. That experience shaped his persistence and perspective, and he’s proud today that his grown children all attended college without student loans.
Outside of the office, Paul enjoys golf, chess, cooking, trips to the San Juan Islands, and time with his grandchild. He is getting married in July 2026.
